When should you backflush? Descale? Bring it on down for a deep clean?
Every day to one week you should:
- Wipe down your group head and portafilter. Keep 'er clean!
- Empty your drip tray
Every 15-30 days it's a good idea to:
- Backflush your machine
- Give your water tank a full rinse
- Use milk frother cleaner on your steam wand
Every 90-120 days it goes a long way to:
- De-scale your machine
- Check your group head gasket for leaks and any changing that might be needed!
For the rest, or every 1-2 years, bring it to us! We offer a few different maintenance packages, and try to keep a stock of most parts. Our technicians are always happy to help get a machine back in top condition for your morning routine.
