My coffee is from Brazil! Ethiopia! Indonesia! But what difference does that make? This is hard to answer in short, but we'll do our best!
Central and South American Coffees
- Oftentimes will exhibit notes of chocolate, a sweet stone fruit acidity, and can have varying mouthfeel.
- You'll see a lot of medium roasts, highlighting their natural nuttiness.
African Coffees
- Are known for riper fruit flavors, like different berries or melons.
- These tend to be roasted lighter to really make these notes shine.
Asian Coffees
- Known for their earthy, chocolatey flavours.
- They tend to be roasted a bit more dark to bring out the robust profiles.
